My name is Ellie Russell, and it's my honor to serve as your Crisis Chair for LIMUN 31! I’m excited to be leading the creative forces of LIMUN this year. This is the part where I'm supposed to give a pithy, satirical description of myself, but that's actually a lot harder than it sounds. Instead, here's a list of some of my favorite things: puns,
long weekends, golden retriever puppies, food, novels on rainy days, cancelled tests, The Phantom of the Opera, peanut butter brownies, and brown paper packages tied up with string.
In all seriousness, LAMP has meant more to me than I can say. From scholar’s bowl, postulates, and killing the pig in Freshman year to this year’s Youth Judicial, SOOS, derivatives, and streets that follow like tedious arguments of insidious intent, this school has shaped my personality and given me more than I can ever hope to give back. Still, anyone who knows me can tell you I'm something of an idealist, so I'm going to try and give back everything I can to
LIMUN this year! I want to give you all the opportunity to have the best MUN experience possible, so I'm ready to go the extra mile-- whether it's keeping things organized with the runners, providing delicious and non-nutritious snacks, or driving creative, intuitive discussion. My hope is that you will walk away from MUN saying that it was the best time you've had all school year.
